Join an old fisherman and his dog for one night on the River Thames

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Betty is sick, and a fisherman's wages won't pay for a Doctor's visit or medicine amidst the struggles of the
English working class in the late 19th century. Joined by his loyal dog, an old man sets out to scavenge
for treasures in the murky waters of the Thames. Both have spent their whole lives on these waters, and now,
in the winter of their lives, they take the opportunity of one quiet night to reflect on their times.

This is a short and atmospheric fishing game made for the River Thames Gamejam of September 2023.  You can explore the whole length of the river
in about 15-20 minutes.

The game is a solo development project with Art and Programming by me, and original music by Grayson Varn. Find more of Grayson's work on his Instagram and Spotify/Bandcamp

It lagged hard for me. I checked console, there were multiple errors: "ANightOnTheRiver_HTML.js Output buffer has not enough frames! Skipping output frame."

Thanks for letting me know! I might have to accept that it will be better as a download than an in-browser game. I thought it might just pass.
